چکیده
Introduction: Dopamine (DA) is essential for the central nervous system (CNS) regulation of neurological, psychological, behavioral, and hormonal processes. Objective: In order to establish viability peripheral blood lymphocytes (PBL) as a molecular tool examining DA dysregulation in neurological diseases, this research sets out current characterization PBL. Methods: This study was carried at Khyber teaching hospital from Jan 2022 April 2022. Twenty-three (23) patients suffering with Parkinson's disease (PD) participated that (average age 56 years, mean disorder length 28 months). Nine these participants received treatment direct dopamine agonist medications, whereas other 14 were drug-naive (levodopa-naive group). Results: Norpramin, noradrenaline uptake blocker, established its efficacy dosages numerous times elevated than blockers uptake, but serotonin inhibitor Prozac inactive. transporter immunoreactivity levels varied significantly across groups, according ANOVA analysis (KW=27, P=0.001). Conclusion: PBL may function biological probe identify transmission disruption neuropsychiatric illnesses track pharmaceutical therapies Keywords: dopamine, dopaminergic system, lymphocytes, disorders

The Dopaminergic System in Peripheral Blood Lymphocytes: From Physiology to Pharmacology and Potential Applications to Neuropsychiatric Disorders
Besides its action on the nervous system, dopamine (DA) plays a role on neural-immune interactions. Here we review the current evidence on the dopaminergic system in human peripheral blood lymphocytes (PBL). PBL synthesize DA through the tyrosine-hydroxylase/DOPA-decarboxylase pathway, and express DA receptors and DA transporter (DAT) on their plasma membrane. Stimulation of DA receptors on PBL...
متن کاملApplications of SPECT imaging of dopaminergic neurotransmission in neuropsychiatric disorders.
Single photon emission computed tomography (SPECT) tracers selective for pre- and post-synaptic targets have allowed measurements of several aspects of dopaminergic (DA) neurotransmission. In this article, we will first review our DA transporter imaging in Parkinson's disease. We have developed the in vivo dopamine transporter (DAT) imaging with [123I]beta-CIT ((1R)-2beta-Carbomethoxy-3beta-(4-...

The peripheral dopaminergic system: morphological analysis, functional and clinical applications.
In vivo administration or in vitro application of dopamine or of dopamine receptor agonists induce vasodilatation in the cerebral, coronary, renal and mesenteric vascular beds and cause hypotension. Moreover, dopamine stimulates cardiac contractility and induces diuresis and natriuresis. Peripheral (cardiovascular and renal) dopamine receptors belong to the D1-like and D2-like receptor superfam...
